For this new Issey Miyake Eau de Toilette Intense, violets meet aquatic notes in a solar encounter, creating a floral fruity perfume filled with light.
Juicy top notes of pear open the scent, before the heart of the perfume unfurls, revealing the powdery and luminous facets of violet leaf absolute. Blooming in the shade of the plant’s leaves, violets are emblematic of modesty, sensuality, and grace. Their enchanting intensity leaves a floral sillage that enlivens the senses.
As the scent settles, the delicate notes of violet intertwine with the silky texture of iris at the base for an elegant touch.
An homage to nature, this vegan fragrance is made with 90% natural origin ingredients, including 100% natural origin violet sourced responsibly in Egypt.

Inspired by violet petals, the L’Eau d’Issey Solar Violet bottle and box are infused in a light-filled shade of purple. Reflecting the purity of water, the iconic bottle is made with transparent glass and, echoing the density of matter, the cap is made without plastic, using 100% natural wood.

The iconic L’Eau d’Issey cap has been reinterpreted using a single piece of 100% wood – a patented innovation that removes the need for plastic. Each piece features a unique wooden grain creating its own organic design. Made with natural ash from material from well-managed, FSCTM certified forests and other managed forests and other controlled sources, it results in a 97% reduction in water use**.
The bottle is made from 20% post-consumer recycled glass. The box is made of material from well-managed, FSCTM certified forests and other controlled sources.
The vegan fragrance is made in France using 90% natural origin ingredients, including alcohol derived from 100% natural origin French beetroot. The fragrance is dermatologically tested and can be worn in the sun*.
